One of the funnest things about scarves and coats and hats weather is having cute brooches to show off on them -so show off these cute little tea time beauties!
Made with earthenware clay, and decorated with underglaze prints from screens I made, they are colourful, bright and ready for all weathers. The brooches are finished with a layer of glaze, and some have a mother of pearl to highlight the lovely colours and patterns. They attach with pin attachment at the back. I thought the brooches might last longer and be less likely to break if the handles were solid but not sure it looks right so I made lots more with cut out handles. Time will tell which lasts longest!
The range is a limited series, handmade and designed by me in the studio in Waterford, so each is unique and may vary a little from the photos.
Brooches are presented in brown card boxes and wrapped ready to gift. If you would like a box made from recycled materials, please let me know. The brooches weigh about 8g and 30g when packed up ready to mail.
